HR Executive (Generalist) - Join a Market Leader

Job Description:

• Responsible mainly for handling and driving HR recruitment efforts for retail shops.
• Execute recruitment strategies to meet the company’s staffing needs.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing and hiring process.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, job boards and other talent sources as and when required.
• Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates’ skills, experience and cultural fit.
• Negotiate offers and facilitate the hiring process, including conducting background checks and coordinating onboarding activities.
• Prepare recruitment related reports and analyze recruitment trends to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Provide guidance and support to hiring managers and interviewers on best practices for recruitment and selection. 
• Oversee the foreign recruitment procedure by following through the documentation process with the related agents and authority bodies on foreign quota application, work permits, TPC renewal, etc.
• Assist in any other tasks as assigned from time to time.
• This position is required to do daily travel to shops in klang valley.

Qualifications and required skills/competencies:

• Completion of a tertiary education in Human Resource Management or related field.
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of practical experience in Human Resource Operations or as an HR Generalist.
• In-depth knowledge of Malaysia's employment laws and industry standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to establish strong relationships with Management and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent planning skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
