HR Executive - Recruitment & Retention - Urgent Role

Job Descriptions:

1. Designed and executed programs to acknowledge and reward outstanding performance, contributing to a positive workplace culture and increased employee satisfaction.
2. Engaged in one-on-one discussions with existing employees to understand their motivations, concerns, and expectations, providing insights for improving retention strategies.
3. Worked closely with managers to identify growth opportunities for employees, fostering a sense of career progression and satisfaction within the organization.
4. Organized events and activities to foster team cohesion, camaraderie, and a positive work environment, contributing to increased employee engagement and retention.
5. Introduced initiatives to support the physical and mental well-being of employees, recognizing the impact on overall job satisfaction and retention.
6. Implemented and analyzed surveys to gather feedback on job satisfaction, work environment, and other relevant factors, using the insights to make data-driven decisions for improving retention strategies.
7. Analyzed data from exit interviews to identify trends and areas for improvement and developed recommendations to address root causes of turnover.
8. Worked closely with the other HR sections to address employee concerns, ensuring a proactive approach to conflict resolution, and contributing to overall employee satisfaction and retention.
9. Work closely with hiring managers in various departments to define recruitment needs and plan the hiring process.
10. Set hiring goals (e.g. quarterly and annual). Track recruitment KPIs, like time to hire, source of hire, and time to fill.
11. Source candidates on job boards, resume databases, professional networks, and through referrals. Manage all communication with candidates from the moment they apply until they get on board.
12. Interview candidates at various stages of the hiring process (phone screening calls, video interviews, and in-person meetings). Use skill assessment tools and tests to screen candidates.
13. Organize the hiring events and participate in job fairs to network with potential candidates. Oversee internal and external communication, making sure that our company maintains a positive reputation as an employer (for example on LinkedIn and social media).

Job Requirements:

• BSc in Human Resources Management or relevant degree
• Minimum 5 years working experience in the related field.
• Exceptional communication skills – English, Malay. Mandarin is an advantage.
• Familiarity with full-cycle recruitment, employee retention, and Talent Management.
• Strong interviewing skills and familiarity with various interview techniques (like video or panel interviews)
• Experience with social media recruiting
• Good in preparing proposals in PowerPoint.
• Good data collection and analysis skills.
• Based in Samalaju, Bintulu.
