HR Information System Specialist

As an HR Information System Specialist, you'll play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our HR systems, ensuring seamless data management and analysis. This is a unique opportunity to combine your technical expertise with your passion for HR.

How you succeed
To excel in this role, you'll need to collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including HR business partners, IT teams, and external vendors. You'll need to stay up-to-date with the latest HR systems and technologies, identifying opportunities to improve our processes and systems. Your analytical skills will be crucial in troubleshooting issues and providing data-driven insights to support business decisions.

What you do

• Design, develop, and implement HR systems,  intranet, HR’s mobile app enhancements and upgrades

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions that enhance the user experience and drive business outcomes

• Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support to users

• Prepare reports and combine with analytics to provide actionable insights for HR business decisions

• Maintain documentation related to HRIS processes, configurations, procedures, and Third Party Risk Management annual review

• Partner and implement Robotic Process Automation (RPA) or AI related initiatives with stakeholders

• Develop and maintain system documentation and user guides

• Ensure data integrity and security, adhering to OCBC's data governance policies

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Workday system and other HR systems to provide solutions to HR colleagues

• Perform system access reviews to ensure compliance and proper user access controls

Who you are

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• At least 7 years of experience in HR systems, preferably in Workday, from banking or financial institution industry. Candidates from other industry is welcomed to apply.

• Strong technical skills in HR systems, preferably in Workday

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
