About the role

Agensi Pekerjaan Career Wise Sdn Bhd is seeking an enthusiastic and driven HR Recruiter (Fresh Graduate) to join our dynamic recruitment team. This is a full-time position based in Penang Island, Penang, offering an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to launch their career in the recruitment and human resources industry. As an HR Recruiter, you will play a vital role in identifying, attracting, and placing top talent with our client organisations. This position is fundamental to our business growth and success, as you will be instrumental in building strong relationships with both candidates and employers whilst contributing to the overall objectives of our recruitment agency.

Key responsibilities

1. Source and identify potential candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, networking, and direct recruitment
2. Screen resumes and conduct initial telephone or video interviews to assess candidate suitability
3. Build and maintain a database of qualified candidates for current and future job placements
4. Present suitable candidates to clients and facilitate the interview process
5. Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the recruitment journey
6. Liaise with clients to understand their hiring requirements and job specifications
7. Follow up with candidates and clients to ensure successful placements and candidate satisfaction
8. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all recruitment activities
9. Contribute to achieving recruitment targets and KPIs
10. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment

What we're looking for

1. Recent graduate with a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field
2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals
3. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with candidates and clients
4. Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with recruitment software or databases
6. A proactive and enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn and develop within the recruitment industry
7. Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
8. Basic knowledge of employment law and recruitment practices is advantageous
9. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional language skills are a plus
