The Manager, HRBP cum Recruiter acts as a strategic partner to business leaders, driving alignment between HR strategies and organizational objectives. This role is pivotal in shaping workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and regulatory compliance within the insurance industry, ensuring the business is equipped with the right talent and capabilities to achieve its goals.Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals
2. Provide expert guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and succession planning
3. Partner with hiring managers to create accurate job descriptions and manage requisition processes
4. Lead recruitment activities, including interviews and candidate selection
5. Act as a trusted advisor for employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies
6. Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention
7. Facilitate performance review processes and coach managers on effective feedback and development plans
8. Ensure adherence to labor laws, regulatory requirements (e.g., BNM guidelines), and internal HR policies
9. Monitor headcount, turnover, and other HR metrics to provide actionable insights
Performance Measures:
1. Achievement of strategic HR objectives, business KPIs
2. Successful implementation of workforce plans, succession coverage
3. Time-to-fill, quality of hire, hiring manager satisfaction
4. Recruitment cycle efficiency, candidate experience
5.Resolution rate of employee relations cases, compliance audit results
6. Employee engagement scores, retention rates
7. Completion rate of performance reviews, manager feedback quality
8. Compliance audit results, zero non-compliance incidents
9. Accuracy and timeliness of HR reports, data-driven decision-making
Skill / Competency:
1. Strategic HR and Stakeholder Management - Ability to align HR initiatives with business strategy and build strong relationships with leaders and employees
2. Business Acumen - Handle various business situations and make decisions by applying both general and organisation-specific knowledge
3. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment - Define, implement and evaluate processes in sourcing, selecting and securing new talents for the organisation and hands on with onboarding, and talent development
4. Employee Relations - Skilled in conflict resolution and policy application
5. HR Analytics - Proficient in analyzing HR metrics for business insights
6. Regulatory Compliance - Fundamental understanding of employment laws and industry regulations
7. Adaptability and Resiliency - Navigate through the unexpected, respond positively to evolving challenges and recover from setbacks with flexibility and resilience
8. Project Management - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results
