HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) Executive - Start Now

Job description

• Develop, implement and monitor health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and programs.
• Auditing production, keeping on the lookout for any unsafe behavior or breaks in regulations.
• Conduct HIRARC assessment with all relevant employees and assessing risk and possible safety and environment hazards.
• Assist HSE Manager on safety meeting and follow up on the improvement action plans.
• Liaising with assigned employee on workplace inspection and follow up on the improvement action plans.
• Provide HSE related trainings and coaching to all employees and check on the effectiveness of trainings such as health and workplace safety, scheduled waste management, and other occupational and environmental topics.
• Assist HSE Manager on the monthly safety campaign execution and awareness programme.
• Investigating causes of accidents and other unsafe conditions on the job site.
• Responsible to perform health check on the fire- fighting equipment and servicing. Follow up on the improvement action plans.
• Support and coordinate on establishment of ISO 45001: 2018 with execution of the documentation and execution of activities.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and complaints and recommend corrective measures to prevent similar occurrences.
• Monitor compliance of local and HQ regulations related to health, safety and environmental policies.
• Assist HSE Manager in preparing monthly HSE report for HQ.
• Coordinate on the emergency response activities and drills related.
• Liaise with local authority related to HSE issue such as DOSH, DOE, MOH, and BOMBA.
• Liaise with external contractor, supplier and internal personnel regarding HSE topics on maintenance services.
• Monitor inventory stock and request to purchase approved items related to First Aid or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Assist HSE manager on the environmental related projects and activities covered with reporting to HQ.
• Support in new HSE implementation programmed and any new projects assigned to HSE.

Job Requirement

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor Degree, Engineering (Environment / Health / Safety) or equivalent.
• At least 3-5 years of working experience in the HSE related field.
• Candidate with valid OSH- Coordinator DOSH certified will have an advantage.
• Basic knowledge in HSE Management System of ISO 45001 and Environmental, Sustainability and Governance (ESG).
• Preferable specializing in Manufacturing company related background.
• Required language (s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
• Good computer knowledge and able to work independently.
