HSE Manager - Data Center

• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, SOPs, and emergency response procedures specific to data center operations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and method statements for all critical activities.
• Lead incident investigations, implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), and monitor incident trends.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA/local regulatory standards, corporate HSE policies, and ISO requirements (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
• Ensure safe work practices around high‑risk equipment such as UPS, generators, battery rooms, CRAC/CRAH units, and electrical distribution systems.
• Ensure compliance with environmental permits, reporting, and audits.
• Deliver HSE training for employees, vendors, and contractors (LOTO, confined space, electrical safety, emergency response, chemical handling, etc.).
• Conduct safety onboarding for new hires and third‑party contractors.
• Oversee contractor safety during maintenance, fit‑out, and construction activities.
• Review contractors’ safety documentation and method of procedures (MOPs).
• Conduct regular HSE inspections of data halls, mechanical/electrical rooms, rooftop equipment, and construction zones.
• Coordinate internal and external audits; manage follow‑up actions.
• Maintain documentation and records for compliance purposes.
• Prepare HSE performance reports, KPIs, and dashboards for management.
• Maintain incident logs, risk registers, MOP/SOP documentation, training records, permits, and audit reports.
• Lead regulatory reporting and liaison with local authorities when required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or similar.
• Minimum 8-10 years of HSE experience; preferably in data center, high‑tech manufacturing, or mission‑critical facilities.
• Green Book Certification
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead safety culture in a high‑pressure, mission‑critical environment.
