HUC Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for HUC Mechanical Engineer, with a specific emphasis on rotating machinery.

Requirements:

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with at least 6 years in a similar role or capacity focused on construction, HUC, and project execution.
• Extensive experience in construction, hook-up, and commissioning (HUC) of oil and gas projects, including both onshore and offshore facilities.
• Proficient in developing commissioning procedures and ensuring compliance with project requirements and safety standards.
• Hands-on experience in offshore topside maintenance and Brownfield projects for topside facilities, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
• Relevant expertise in Greenfield topside hook-up and commissioning (HUC) projects, from planning to execution. 

• Familiar with international mechanical standards
• Competent in testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Familiar with design codes and standards, and oil and gas industry construction practices
  Member of BEM is preferred.

• Responsibility:
• Develop all plans and procedures for commissioning of systems.
• Ensure compliance with project quality procedures such as document control, change control, materials control, field inspection and testing procedures.
• Lead commissioning team during commission/start-up.
• Develop all turnover document required for custody transfer to Operations.
• Shall have a full understanding of project management principles, e.g. planning, monitoring, reporting and control of cost, time and resources and shall be able to prepare detailed plans for particular tasks under his/her control.
