Penerangan Pekerjaan - Human Resource Manager

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of HR Manager for our International School in Kuala Lumpur. As the HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR functions and initiatives of our organization.
  • Responsible for providing a practical solution focused on the HR function of the Institution and is the first point of contact for all HR-related matters.
  • Provides leadership and guidance for the Institution and its employees regarding HR matters by managing a comprehensive human resources office. 
  • Meet the HODs regularly to find out the gap analysis with respect to the Institution’s long-term strategy and equip the employees with the needed time to survive and be sustainable.
  • Advises employees and supervisors regarding performance and disciplinary issues and administers progressive discipline and grievance procedures consistently.
  • Ensure academic staffs teaching permit is being renewed on a timely basis and being updated in the Ministry of Education.
  • Monitor and administer matters concerning expatriates and foreign workers by ensuring timely renewal is done by the HR personnel. Ensure all info is being updated in the Expatriate Service Division, Immigration portal.
  • Manages funds by planning, developing, and controlling the departmental budget.
  • Maintain an integrated working relationship with Group HR and Business Management teams. Work Group partners on the implementation of global projects and initiatives to ensure overall alignment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources or relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in a relevant field or similar.
  • The ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Application.
  • Excellent written and oral English/Malay communication skills. To equip and be well versed with HR policies and Labor Law’s jurisdiction.
