PURPOSE OF ROLE:

  • Provide a leading role in HR operations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Employee Engagement and Learning & Development.
  • Acquire, plan, implement and monitor talent initiatives, including succession management.
  • Facilitate the growth in human resources and align programs and strategies that drive organizational performance. 
  • Manage the training needs and career development of the global team to ensure that Global Human Resources is effective and efficient in meeting the group corporate objectives and global customer needs.

 

OBJECTIVES OF ROLE:

  • Ensuring the availability of resources, easy access to data, on-time payroll, ensuring compliance, etc.
  • Ensure the organization has the best talent.
  • Make sure workplace conflicts are minimal, and everyone’s treated appropriately. 
  • Developing a comprehensive employee engagement strategy
  • Leveraging technology for HR operations management. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To manage the HR Department by planning and implementing the organization's policies, practices, and employee relations. 
  • To execute end-to-end recruitment activities by reviewing and monitoring existing job portals, overseeing overall recruitment progress by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions. 
  • Develop the manpower plan for Global Human Resources and formulate the manpower budget to forecast the requirements for additional manpower and estimated costs.
  • Organize reporting for Management Team as and when required, presenting headcount globally as well as by location/entity, talent management overview, employee engagement overview, manpower budgeting and other relevant information.
  • To maintain fruitful relationship with external recruitment sources.
  • To handle and advise management on disciplinary issues, dealing with staff enquiries and grievances, conflict resolution and other employee relations matters in compliance with Employment Act in respective countries.
  • To plan and organise for any in-house trainings / public trainings whenever training needs arise, including manage the HRDF grant and claim submission. 
  • To perform payroll administration and process monthly payroll on timely manner by updating staff movement, prepare HR letters and administer employee benefits programs such as allowances, medical benefits as per Employee Handbook. 
  • Develop and manage the talent management framework for talent assessment, succession planning, talent development and talent retention.
  • Drive and manage all ad-hoc talent projects to ensure timely execution and deliverables.
  • Assist to ensure departmental compliance and promote Group-wide awareness and     competency on Information Security Management System (ISMS).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, Social Science, Psychology or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years working experience in talent acquisition and talent management. Candidates with experience in IT headhunting and managing a recruitment team is desirable.
  • Self-starter, sense of urgency, ability to plan and prioritize, works well under pressure and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity and awareness of current talent trends and metrics.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
