Indirect Procurement - Commodity IT Manager (Penang)

• Request for strategic sourcing and contract negotiation for IT (hardware, software and services).
  
• Develop and execute global category strategies, conduct spend analysis and supplier segmentation.
  
• Analyze market trends and suppliers’ capabilities to identify cost saving opportunities
  
• Partner with stakeholders to align sourcing plan.
  
• Capable to oversee global spending and ensure compliance, cost optimization, and supplier performance.
  
• Facilitate annual business reviews and suppliers’ scorecards.
  
• Process purchase requisition and PO confirmation if necessary.
  
• Support / responsible for global AE manufacturing factories, design and global service centers
  

Requirements

• Proven or demonstrated performance developing strategic supplier relationships.
  
• Proactive problem solver with strong planning orientation.
  
• Excellent working knowledge of purchasing and electronic manufacturing processes.
  
• Capability to respond quickly, decisively, assertively and professionally to changing requirements
  
• Proficient with SAP or Ariba
  
• Excellent PC skills including Excel, Word, MS Standard Office
  

• 5+ years of experience in strategic procurement or commodity management, preferably in industrial machinery or IT.
  
• Experience in supply chain management in an electronics manufacturing environment.
  
• Developing and deploying comprehensive categories and commodity strategies.
  
• Commodity Spend Analysis.
  
• Supplier Contract management.
  
• Supporting Procure to Pay process including PO issuance and supplier shipment.
  
• Experience in a very high growth rate electronic business is preferred.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related fields.
