Industrial Engineer II - Hiring Now

Ensure compliance to QMS & EHS legal and other requirements. Ensure all industrial processes and layouts adhere to safety & 5S regulations and guidelines. Champion a safety-first culture and actively participate in safety initiatives.

Standards Maintenance: Develop, implement, and maintain machine standards, cycle times, work methods and best practices to ensure consistent and efficient processes throughout the organization. Continuously review and update these standards to reflect industry trends and advancements.

Accountable to update standard flow chart hours and yield, reflecting the latest machines standards, cycle times and work methods to drive for product cost competitiveness

Productivity Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in productivity and efficiency across all aspects of the industrial process. Implement innovative solutions to streamline workflows, reduce downtime, and enhance overall output.

Process Optimization: Conduct regular process audits and root cause analyses to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas of waste. Develop and execute action plans to address these issues and optimize performance.

Metric Maintenance: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the performance of various processes and operations e.g. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, anomalies, and areas that require attention and improvement.

Interpersonal Skills: Collaborate effectively with teams from different departments, such as production, engineering, and quality control, to understand their unique needs and challenges. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.

Communication: Communicate technical information and process changes clearly and concisely to all levels of the hierarchy, from frontline workers to senior management. Present data-driven reports and recommendations to support decision-making.

To carry on daily tasks for new toy/line tooling development, introduce production/pilot runs and production support for daily issues, and continue to improve the process, machines, and product for simplified assembly.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• 1-2 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer, with a strong track record in standards maintenance, layout design, productivity improvement, and metric maintenance, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in using industrial engineering software and tools for process simulation, layout design, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically. In-depth knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other process improvement techniques is a plus. 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and present complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office & PowerBI (or similar)
