Information Technology System (ITS) Engineer - Start Now

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Assist the System Manager in developing technical design documents, including technical proposals, drawings, testing procedures, project plans, and training manuals, to support ITS project deliverables.
2. Project Collaboration and Meetings: Actively participate in meetings and workshops related to design, integration, and implementation, ensuring alignment with project goals.
3. Client, Consultant, and Vendor Interaction: Assist the System Manager in liaising with clients, consultants, and vendors, addressing inquiries and providing solutions in a timely manner.
4. Progress Reporting: Regularly compile and present weekly and monthly progress reports on ITS projects, highlighting achievements and addressing any delays or issues.
5. Meeting Coordination and Documentation: Organize and lead project meetings, ensuring all discussions are documented accurately in the minutes for future reference.
6. Quality Control: Monitor the quality of all technical outputs and ensure compliance with project standards and client expectations.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Networking, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
2. At least 2-3 years of relevant experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked in the construction industry.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
4. Solid understanding of network infrastructure, Windows Server Operating System, Virtual Server Architecture, and system security in an IT environment.
5. Strong preference for candidates who are Sarawakian due to local regulations.
6. Must be willing to be based in Kuching and travel as required by project needs.
7. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to evolving project requirements.
