Information Technology Technician - with Great Benefits

The Information Technology Technician in line with the vision and values of the school while working with others is responsible for supporting the installation, configuration, operation, maintenance, and development of the School’s ICT hardware, software and network infrastructure.

• Day to Day Operations of all IT Systems

Support the troubleshooting of hardware, software and network operating system, ensuring the school is operational and has Security of Data, Backup Systems and Network Access

• Hardware and A/V Equipment

Ensure that all equipment is operational and setup correctly.

• Hardware Equipment and Software Applications 

Support the inventory of technology hardware, software and resources—track Hardware equipment and Software licenses to ensure compliance with vendor contracts.

• Information Management System, School Website and Social Media platforms

Support the administration of the school systems, monitoring content and user access

• Support and Assistance 

Support and provide the Orientation, training and technical support in all school systems.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Technical skills and knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide technical support to end-users

• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively

• A diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field with minimum 2 years’ experience

• Relevant experience in Google Workspace for Education platform, Chromebook, iPad, MacBook and Windows devices

• Report to the IT Manager
