In-house Patent Attorney

Sacco Mann are thrilled to be working on a brand new In-house Patent Attorney position at an impressive international FMCG business.

This is an exciting stage of expansion and transformation within the business and sought to join their collegiate in-house patents team is an In-house Patent Attorney to work from either their South West or North West hubs.

You’ll be joining an innovative and collaborative environment where your development will be championed, allowing your career to thrive. Therefore, we are very keen to hear from recently dual qualified Patent Attorneys ready for their next significant career move. There is flexibility on the required technical background and so those with Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering or Chemical backgrounds are warmly welcomed to apply.

On offer here is a rich and varied opportunity! A snapshot of daily responsibilities involves working in collaboration across internal functions such as R&D teams, procurement and the wider legal group whilst collaborating and working seamlessly with external counsel across a wide range of patent matters. You’ll cover filings, prosecution, oppositions, portfolio management, FTO, invention capturing and more.

Your exceptional communication skills, commercial awareness and pragmatism will stand you in good stead to seamlessly manage, advise and build strong cohesive relationships within the team and wider organisation.

This is a close-knit group of exceptional IP specialists and you are sure to be joining a friendly, collegiate and collaborative team. Sitting across both of their offices, the IP group are considering candidates based in the South West or North West. With true flexibility here we’d love to hear from candidates in both regional locations. The business is hybrid (50/50) and you will be expected to spend time on site and working from home, this is not a fully remote opportunity.
