Interior Design Director (Senior Manager)/ Senior Interior Designer - Start Now

Reporting to: Project Manager & Head of Business Management

Job Description:

• Project set-up, design and construction administration, in support of project objectives and project requirements.
• Obtains, Collates, and analyses all necessary resources before design input, including site survey/ measurement and design schedule
• Co-ordinate and facilitate communication between relevant parties involved in the design process to ensure all designs meet design standards/ guidelines and expectations of clients.
• Developing strategic design plans with projected timelines and budgets.
• Develop conceptual space planning presentation and strong schematic 3D design visual presentation, while maintaining at a consistent level of design guidelines to achieve a cohesive effect in terms of architecture, detailing and interior aesthetic.
• Overseeing the design projects, from start to finish, and monitoring the staff members to ensure they adhere to the budget and timeline constraints.
• Develop detailed design construction documents that are not limited to technical interior architecture details, selection and specification of lightings, furniture and material furnishings.
• Support the design development and implementation of new design and initiatives impacting all brand’s store development.
• Choosing the design elements for different projects.
• Assists with project scheduling and set-up with contractors, vendors, and consultants.
• Coordinates and develops responses to contractors' questions, inquiries, and drafts meeting minutes as required.
• Able to maintain and organize filing for smooth data retrieval.
• Works well in an interdisciplinary, fast-paced environment.

Qualities and skills required:

• Diploma (or above) in interior design
• At least 5 years’ experience working at an interior design, architecture, or other pertinent firms.
• Attention to detail – able to produce reports, letters, etc. with minimal mistakes.
• Strong personal/interpersonal skills.
• Good communication skills and coordination capabilities
• Reliable and virtuous.
• Capable to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines occasionally.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel
