Interior Designer - Rewarding Work

We represent an interior design & renovation company from Hong Kong that develops interior environments specializing in high-end residential, restaurant, hotel and office projects. Our firm develops individual solutions for each project by taking a holistic design approach which combines project client’s requirements using carefully considered materials, detailing and precision with practical problem-solving.  

Responsibilities: 

• To provide support and assistance to Director on project design and technical aspects
• Assist and support Design Director in preparation of drawings/documents
• Developing initial ideas and acquiring key information about potential projects, discussing requirements in detail with clients and setting project schedules
• Understanding clients' needs and the needs of the parties using the building, developing design concepts in consultation with the client and establishing final briefs
• Considering materials and costs according to set budgets
• Conducting feasibility studies for projects
• Coordinate and liaise with supplier and consultants
• To ensure all work is carried out effectively and within deadlines
• Ability to use a variety of media in the development and documentation of a design project
• Keeping up to date with new developments in the design industry
• Ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Interior Design OR Architecture
• Malaysian Citizen Only 
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• At least 3 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Junior or Senior Executives specializing in Architecture or Interior Design or equivalent.
• Good command of Cantonese, English and Mandarin is a must
• Non Cantonese speaking candidates will not be accepted
• Able to meet deadlines, confident and ability to work with minimum supervision.
• A team player with positive attitude, good communication skill and problem solving skill. 

This position is based in Sunway Velocity, Kuala Lumpur.
