Interior Designer/Sales Designer

Full time

RM 3,500 – RM 4,500 per month basic salary

Job Responsibilities:

• Engagingwith clients to understand their design preferences and themes, requirements, and budgetary.
• Develop good design concepts and presenting them to clients using 2D/3D visualization tools.
• Able to create detailed design plans, including space layouts as per actual, suitable colour schemes, proposed material selection, and furniture recommendations.
• Prepare project cost estimates and materials costing based on client selection, and requirements. Not compulsory to have this experience as Management will assist in all final project costing. 
• Strive to achieve personal target and company’s sales goals and providing good customer service by attending to clients’ enquiry and complain.
• Excellent time management skill and able to meet tight deadlines and able to work on multiple projects at times.
• Stay up-to-date with new industry trends and market developments
• Weekly report works schedule & monthly report progress to management.
• Supervise site progress coordinating with sub-contractors and solving detailing and measurement issues

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

• Possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Architecture, business, marketing, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in interior design sales, or marketing in the interior design or renovation related industry.
• Experience in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator or other designing programs
• Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions)
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong drive to meet monthly sales targets
• The ability to speak and write in English and Chinese;
• Experience in interior design materials costing will be an added advantage
• Passion for interior design and ability to handle projects from beginning until completion 
• Strong sense of responsibilities, independent, pleasant personality and a good positive attitude.
• Willingness to work on weekends in meeting customer appointments
