Internal Auditor - Senior Executive - Opportunity to Make a Difference

Our client is one of the largest privately-owned groups in Malaysia with diversified interests in property investments, hotels, constructions, development, management and trading

Responsibilities: 

• Execute internal audit tasks and spontaneous investigations as directed by the Audit Manager and senior management.
• Assess and appraise the adequacy and efficiency of the company's internal control systems, identify potential cost savings, ensure compliance with policies, laws, and regulations, and safeguard company assets. 
• Gather substantial audit evidence to support findings and conclusions.
• Engage with audit subjects regarding findings, document audit results, propose solutions to address weaknesses and inefficiencies, and draft audit reports. 
• Maintain accurate audit work papers, participate in audit meetings, and engage in discussions with audit subjects on relevant issues. 
• Provide valuable recommendations and ensure completion of audit tasks within planned budgets and schedules.

Requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in fields such as Accounting, Finance, or related areas, or possess relevant professional qualifications like full or partial ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CIA, etc.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in internal or external auditing
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and proficient command of written and spoken English
