Internship for IT Students (Quality Assurance) - Start Now

You will be responsible for assisting the team in testing software applications (involving different devices, operating systems, and browsers) and ensuring their quality and reliability. You will work closely with the team to execute manual / automation test cases, identify software defects, and provide feedback to improve the overall quality of our products.



Day To Day Activities

• To execute manual / automated tests to verify the functionality, performance and usability of web / mobile applications, as well as identify and report the defects found.
• Collaborate with peers, developers, designers and end-users to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
• To analyse and distribute QA reports and feedback to development team, product managers and senior management.
• To design, maintain and execute tests - including functional, system integration, regression, performance, and API testing.
• Support other team members in other areas such as creating test accounts, providing documentation on how to simulate a user flow, help on project management etc.
• Contribute to team discussions on improving the testing processes and methodologies.

The Right Person For This Role

• Has knowledge on web / mobile development experience.
• Strong interest in software quality assurance and testing. Actively seek opportunities for self-improvement and professional growth in the field of software quality assurance and testing.
• Has an eagle eye to details and has solid initiative to raise alarms when necessary.
• The ability to multitask and the capability to prioritize work based on importance. Able to work independently with minimum supervision and meet deadlines.
• High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities.
• Clear and active communicator - concise and articulate in speech and writing.

All You Need

• Candidates must possess or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering or equivalent.
• Available for a duration of at least 4 months.
• Priority will be given to those who have a good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems and test management tools is a plus.
• Intermediate SQL knowledge with writing and executing SQL queries.
