Internship - Quality Control (Chemist) - Urgent Role

Job Description: 

• Execute testing techniques/methods in accordance to approved procedure and work instruction requirements in terms of accuracy, precision and with minimal delay
• Comply to Laboratory management system (ISO17025)
• Execute sampling and testing (physical, chemical, sensorial or microbiological or incoming RM/PM)
• Execute sampling and testing environmental monitoring
• Responsible for the timely analysis and reporting of all analyzes at the in-house QC laboratory. (In scope: The entry control of the incoming raw materials and packaging materials, sample shipment and storage)
• Ensure validity of test equipment
• Execute quality controls for all test methods
• Adhere to Focus Lab Standards (optmizing lab cost)
• Assure keeping sample availability and disposal upon shelf life expiry
• Support complaint testing
• Support Q-problem solving process for lab non-conformances
• Support smooth transition during double operation between Brownfield and Greenfield.

Job Requirements:

• Pursuing Bachelor Degree in Food technology or Food Science
• Good in Microsoft office
• Well-developed analytical skills
• Good communication and clear decision making capabilities
• Adaptability to work throughout all organizational layers
• Fluency in English and Malay
• Preferably intake June/July 2024
