Investment Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate investment opportunities, conducting thorough market analysis and financial assessments.
• Source promising startups and generate deal flow through networking within startup communities.
• Review pitch decks, attend startup pitches, and conduct financial analysis to assess investment opportunities.
• Prepare investment memos and present insights to decision-makers for deal selection.
• Research and analyze industry trends, emerging technologies, and business models to refine investment strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with startups, venture capital firms, accelerators, and industry partners.

Required Skills and Qualifications: 

• A university degree (non-finance degrees are also welcome).
• 1 to 3 years of experience in venture capital, startups, finance, accounting, or similar fields.
• Strong skills in financial analysis and modeling.
• Exceptional attention to detail when reviewing contracts, documents, and investment notes.
• A genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for learning about new industries, technologies, and trends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and professional reporting and presentations.
• Ability to handle a high volume of opportunities with persistence and focus.
• Emotional intelligence and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Experience or exposure to Asian markets and networks is a plus.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Proficiency in an additional regional language is preferred.
