IT APPLICATION DEVELOPER - Urgent Position

As part of the Global Shared Service Centre (SSC) of Wilmar, we are looking for dynamic, customer service and quality minded team player to join our SSC continuous expansion in 2024. The position provides an opportunity to widely increase your IT knowledge and expertise working for a well-known, fast growing SSC of a Fortune 500 company.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the full software development life cycle from technical design to development, testing, and deployment using .Net/OutSystems/UiPath development tools.
• Work with technical teams and senior architects to finalize technical design specifications, including the customization and/or integration of software solutions, to address the business requirements.
• Perform operational tasks to ensure the smooth operation of production applications and platforms.
• Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects encountered during various stages of project delivery, including during the deployment and implementation of the solution in production environments.
• Work with other .Net/OutSystems/UiPath team members within Wilmar to contribute and grow the .Net/OutSystems/UiPath platform capabilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer science or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Experience in SQL and relational databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server).
• Experience in web/desktop/mobile application development – including school and/or internship projects.
• C# proficiency is mandatory, complemented by knowledge of other programming languages including VB, Java, JavaScript, Ajax, and CSS.
• Basic understanding of Internet technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL, etc.).
• Basic understanding of Agile/Waterfall methodology.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
• Experience in application development using OutSystems/UiPath platform will be an added advantage, but not mandatory.
• 2+ years of experience in web/desktop/mobile application development.
• 2+ years of experience in SLDC with Agile/Waterfall methodology.
• Experience in using version control systems like SVN, GIT.
