IT Consultant Purchasing Digitalization Master Data

Main Tasks:

• You work as an IT partner and IT provider for our Purchasing area
• You are the IT solution owner for our Purchasing master data solutions
• You ensure close collaboration with the purchasing organization as well as with internal and external partners
• You steer, plan and implement problem solving as well as changes and extensions of the master data solutions
• You contribute with process and IT Know how to provide professional consulting and to ensure functional and technical design around master data
• You support IT implementation projects in the purchasing area
• You plan, execute and deliver projects/work packages and ensure high quality delivery within scope, budget and time
• You work within a globally distributed organization on multiple time zones with diverse, multi-cultural stakeholders and external development partners
• You support in designing the digital transformation of Purchasing

• University degree in computer science or economics or equivalent qualification
• Excellent communication skills
• First relevant professional experience in IT – focus on master data
• Basic understanding of SAP MDM and related technologies
• Exposure to data modeling, data integration, and data quality management
• Familiarity with SAP MM or SD is appreciated
• First experience in IT Projects (agile or waterfall)
• Knowledge of Source to Pay processes appreciated
• IT Service Management experience appreciated
• Business Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Eagerness to learn
• Very efficient, reliable, and responsible way of working
• Ability to cooperate with globally distributed teams – internal as well as external
• Highly self-motivated, assertive and skilled at resolving conflict as well as high customer service orientation
• Willingness for occasional national and international business trips
