IT Officer - Urgent Position

At Mybrush Group of Companies, we are passionate about continuously developing and delivering significant technologies in injection molding and assembly. We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile  IT Officer to join our team. As an IT Officer, your primary responsibilities will include:

Job Description:

End-User Support

• Attend to ticketing cases promptly, prioritize them based on urgency, and ensure timely resolution.
• Respond to and resolve IT-related issues and inquiries from end-users promptly and professionally.
• Provide technical assistance for hardware, software, and network-related problems.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Assist in setting up new workstations and user accounts, ensuring proper access levels and configurations.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.

Infrastructure Support

• Install, configure, and test network devices, operating systems, applications/software, and management tools.
• Monitor and maintain the company's IT infrastructure.
• Perform preventive maintenance quarterly.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patches, and backups.
• Collaborate with vendors and external service providers for infrastructure-related support and maintenance.
• Implement and maintain an IT asset management system to track hardware and software assets.

Documentation and Knowledge Management

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems, processes, and configurations.
• Create and update user manuals, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting guides.
• Share knowledge and provide training to end-users on common IT tasks and applications.

Collaboration and Project Support

• Collaborate with other IT team members to support ongoing projects, system upgrades, and technology implementations.
• Assist in researching and evaluating new technologies, tools, and solutions to improve IT infrastructure and support.
• Participate in meetings, provide insights, and contribute to IT-related discussions and decision-making.

Requirements

• Diploma or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in IT support, infrastructure, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, hardware, networking, and software applications.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team.
• Work independently to provide end-user support service with minimal supervision.
• Ability to handle a high volume of requests, including unplanned and unscheduled requests.
