IT Support Engineer
An incredibly exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT End User Support Engineer to join one of the uprising IT company in the market. Our new, modern, and forward thinking IT Support function being established with a clear purpose to provide the support people need, when they need it, to help them do their jobs. We are moving away from a traditional IT Service Desk model to provide a proactive and responsive approach to IT support.
This role will form a key part of our IT Managed Service Team, providing single point of accountability for supporting our customers to allow them to focus on their business.
Responsibilities:
- Provide client support and technical issue resolution on IT services & Cloud Services.
- Knowledge in troubleshooting, implementing as well as migration of IT hardware, software & Cloud services.
- Understand customer need and establish company's product as the best solution that addresses the technical and business requirements.
- Possess good communication, technical skills, consultative skills as with customer-oriented approach.
- Able to work extra hours, independent, responsive, perform task with minimum supervision.
- work hand in hand with the team members to provide pre-sales /implementation /post sales support.
- Station at client office when necessary
- Ensure quality, efficiency and consistency of task performed.
- Prepare project documentations including requirements, design, test results as well as manual and training documents.
Requirements:
- Minimum diploma or degree graduate in IT, Computer Science or any related IT field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Windows Server (Windows, HCI, VMware, Hyper-V and etc) and Cloud platforms (Azure, Alibaba, AWS & etc)
- Experience in networking and infrastructure including storage, firewall, network switches and etc.
- Experience in Microsoft Window Server 2012/2016/2019, VMware, Security/Anti-virus, Data-storage/backup products and solutions.
- Good working attitude, a team player but also able to work independently
- Possess Professional IT certification (e.g. CCNA/CCNP/MCSA/MCSE/VMware etc) will be given priority consideration
