IT System Engineer -Mid Level

Location: Subang

Prior Experience in Cloud/ Infra Industry is preferred

We are looking for System Engineers to be part of our business expansion team. He/ She will be the expertise in planning, execution and implementation of systems and technologies, and provide best practice technical support to our customers.

Job specification:

• Lead and manage assignments within varying levels of customer expectations and management to provide solutions in timely manner.
• Conduct and coordinate with customer on routine system preventative maintenance.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting consultations.
• Monitor, review, analyse feedback and take appropriate solution actions.

Responsibility:

• Assist in project planning, execution and implementation to ensure a smooth project execution.
• Monitor and test system performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.
• Provides investigation, diagnostic testing and resolution of systems in timely manner.
• Prioritizing technical issues for immediate corrective actions, communication with pertinent parties, and completing individual and on-site team assignments within time expectations.
• Recommend changes to existing products or services to enhance the delivery of services.
• Responsible to prepare and ensure proper documentation for delivery of services.
• To conduct regular review on network performance according to standard policy and work flow to plan & schedule preventive/corrective maintenance on network platforms to ensure platform SLA is met
•  To plan and execute maintenance work in planned schedule to implement changes on network infrastructure in non-office hour as needed
•  Perform upgrades, patches and tuning to maintain and improve platform performance.

Your profile:

• Strong installation, configuration & troubleshooting skills on WinTel and Linux based environments.
• Good in virtualization and containerization (E.g. VMware, Virtual Box)
• Ability to create automated scripts and software is preferred (e.g., SQL, MySQL).
• Strong hands-on experience in implementing software networking and security project/ or has experienced working in system Integration environment.
• Able to use, configure and install network hardware, namely switches, routes, and access points.
• Self-motivated, can work independent and willing to take challenges.
• Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills

Your qualification:

• Possess at least Diploma/ Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent;
• Minimum 2 years related working experience for System Engineer
• Good command in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
