IT Technician

Coastal Health is currently searching for a motivated, career-oriented IT Support Specialist for our multispecialty medical group.This position will assist with both hardware and software solutionsin multiple medicalclinics.The help desk servesemployees by: triaging calls, determining requirements, answering inquiries, resolving problems, fulfilling requests, and maintaining databases. Qualified candidates must possess experience in information technology anddemonstratestrong communication skills.  Creates IT tickets when necessary and forwards to the appropriate technician.

This position will require to drive to our office locations, as far as Georgia.  Responds to electronic fax and forwards to correct recipient.  Answers inquiries by clarifying desired information; researching, locating, and providing information.  Resolves problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; escalating unresolved problems.  Fulfills requests by clarifying desired information; completing transactions; forwarding requests.  Keeps equipment operational by following established procedures; reporting malfunctions.  Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.  Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.  Oversee the daily performance of computer systems.  Maintain record of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial action taken, and installation activities.  Read technical manuals, confer with users, and conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems and to provide technical assistance and support.  Confer with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications.  Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service.  Prepare evaluations of software or hardware, and recommend improvements or upgrades    High school diploma or equivalent.  Education or training in IT.  Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.  Data Entry Skills, Listening, Verbal Communication, Building Relationships, People Skills, Interpersonal Savvy, Problem Solving, Multi-tasking  #J-18808-Ljbffr
