IT Vendor Manager (ID: 573368)

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vendor Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with IT vendors, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and optimizing vendor performance. Proficiency in Chinese/Cantonese is essential for this role, as you will be interacting with vendors and stakeholders across various regions.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Relationship Management:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with IT vendors, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all vendor-related issues and escalations.

Contract Management:

• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to ensure the best possible value for the organization.
• Monitor and enforce contract compliance, including service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

• Regularly review vendor performance, conducting audits and assessments to ensure adherence to agreed standards.
• Prepare and present performance reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.

Risk Management:

• Identify and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships, including financial, operational, and reputational risks.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the organization’s interests.

Cost Management:

• Monitor and control costs associated with vendor services, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Develop and manage the vendor management budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work closely with internal stakeholders, including IT, procurement, and legal teams, to align vendor management activities with business objectives.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to address vendor-related challenges and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT vendor management, with a track record of successful vendor negotiations and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in Chinese/Cantonese is essential.
• Strong understanding of IT contracts, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in vendor management software/tools.
