Japanese interpreter - Career Growth Potential

Role Description:-

This is a full-time on-site role for a Japanese Translator at Asahi Best Base Sdn Bhd located in Kulim, Kedah. The Japanese Translator will be responsible for Japanese translation, communication, interpreting, and translating from Japanese to English / Mandarin. The role may involve day-to-day tasks such as translating documents interpreting conversations and facilitating effective communication between Japanese and English / Mandarin speakers. 

Qualifications:-

• Japanese Translation and Interpreting skills.
• Fluency in Japanese (N1 or N2 Certification is must) , English and Mandarin.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to accurately translate Japanese to English / Mandarin and vice versa. 
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience working as a translator or interpreter is preferred. 
• Experience in the Semi-Conductor industry is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:- 

• Perform as an interpreter/translator to assist Japanese members/expatriates for new project, discussion, and meeting (from Japanese to English / Mandarin or vice versa). 
• Responsible to do translation of technical documentation, email correspondences, technical proposal, presentation slides, videos, meeting minutes and administration work (from Japanese to English or vice versa). 
• Checking and verified document from Japanese to English or vice versa. 
• Support/Assist Japanese Expatriates in daily operation and activities. 
• Assist in liaise or coordinate with Japanese Expatriates, Japanese Guests, or VIP when necessary. 
• Other duties and tasks.
