About the role

Four Seasons Resort Langkawi is searching for a highly skilled, creative and qualified Junior Sous Chef. Able to plan, organize, control and lead the Kitchen team, responsible for food preparation while ensuring superior quality and consistency.

What you will do

  • Coordinate the selection, training, development, and evaluation of employees.

  • Demonstrating the ability to craft and develop attractive and innovative menus that aligns with the restaurant’s concept and standards.

  • Uphold exceptional customer relations and interactions

  • Exhibit strong leadership skills and communication skills and the ability to work independently, cost control and managing kitchen operations efficiently.

  • Embody the spirit of a team player, contributing positively to our collaborative work environment, providing effectively training and guiding and support to the culinary team.

  • With HACCP knowledge, maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

  • Ability to work under pressure.

  • What you bring

  • SKM Level 3 or Diploma in Culinary Art

  • Minimum of 3 years experiences in the current position.

  • Extensive knowledge working with wood fire / charcoal grill and modern cooking techniques.

  • Background in upscale western grill / fine restaurant with Italian and Mediterranean cuisine cooking knowledge.
