As part of its strategic growth, the company is currently seeking talented Junior and Senior Account Associates to join our Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Team for remote, work-from-home roles.

Junior/Senior Account Associate (Remote Role)

Job Responsibilities

Junior Account Associate:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses.
• Perform bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support the senior team in tax filing and compliance activities.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage general ledger entries.
• Participate in audits and assist with audit documentation.
• Provide administrative support and assist with ad hoc accounting tasks.

Senior Account Associate:

• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports.
• Manage complex accounting tasks, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Review and approve financial transactions and entries.
• Supervise and mentor junior associates, providing guidance and training.
• Coordinate and lead audit processes and liaise with auditors.
• Develop and implement efficient accounting procedures and policies.
• Provide strategic financial insights and support decision-making processes.

Requirements

Junior Account Associate:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize work to meet deadlines

Senior Account Associate:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a corporate service provider setting.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with financial reporting, tax compliance, and audits.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
