About the role

 


Work Location:         1 Powerhouse, Bandar Utama
Reporting To:           Commercial Lead - MYSG & Inside Sales Director SEA
Working Hours:        8.30am – 5.30pm 



This role will be responsible for developing strategic customer partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sustainable growth across Kerry's diverse Taste & Nutrition portfolio. As a key member of the commercial team, you will collaborate closely with customers and cross-functional stakeholders across Marketing, RD&A, Operations, and Supply Chain to deliver innovative solutions that address evolving market needs. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry, particularly within the flavour and ingredients space, and thrive in a fast-paced, highly matrixed multinational environment.


 

Key responsibilities

 



  • Develop and execute customer growth strategies in partnership with the Commercial Lead to deliver sustainable and profitable business growth aligned with Kerry's strategic priorities.

  • Manage and expand key customer relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to drive long-term value creation.

  • Identify, evaluate, and convert new business opportunities, maintaining a robust sales pipeline across existing and prospective accounts.

  • Leverage customer, market, and competitive insights to uncover growth opportunities and translate them into actionable commercial initiatives.

  • Own the end-to-end project pipeline, ensuring effective prioritization, project execution, and stakeholder alignment to achieve business objectives.

  • Collaborate with Marketing and RD&A teams to develop compelling customer engagement plans, innovation programs, and differentiated value propositions.

  • Lead customer negotiations, business reviews, and commercial discussions to strengthen partnerships and drive profitable growth.

  • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration across internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of customer projects and business commitments.

  • Actively contribute to business planning, forecasting, and strategic account development initiatives.


 

Qualifications and skills

 



  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Food Science, Food Technology or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Key Account Management, Business Development, or Commercial roles within the food ingredients, flavours, food manufacturing, or related sectors.

  • Prior experience working for a multinational organization (MNC) is essential.

  • Strong understanding of the Food & Beverage market and industry landscape.

  • Experience working with flavour houses, ingredient companies, or Taste-focused businesses is highly preferred.

  • Demonstrated success in managing strategic customer relationships and delivering commercial growth.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.

  • Commercially astute with the ability to balance customer needs and business objectives.

  • Self-driven, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
