About Our Client

Our client, An MNC Water consultant company is currently looking out for a new Key Account Manager for their Waste water division. Our client employs a diverse suite of technologies, such as automated monitoring systems and data analysis, to assist customers in conserving significant volumes of water annually. This role will work closely with the technical and commercial team where they will deal heavily with the general industry clients.

Job Description

• Meet annual sales targets for your area by working with the District Manager, district sales staff, Senior Account Manager, and Corporate Account Manager to develop effective sales strategies.
• Set a high standard in territory management by engaging with both current and potential sales customers.
• Focus on customer retention and satisfaction by adhering to the Six Service Standards and conducting feedback surveys.
• Clearly document the value delivered to customers in financially accepted terms.
• Build and maintain business relationships with senior management of prospects and customers, and train District Representatives to do the same.
• Develop sales and service personnel through annual performance reviews, quarterly coaching with set goals, and necessary training to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Accompany District Representatives on sales calls, review their presentations, and provide training in effective sales techniques.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.)
• Proven success in technical sales
• Valid Driver's License and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
• Experience in the water treatment or speciality chemical industry
• Knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and waste water treatment systems
