Key Account Manager (Sales)
Job Role
To be responsible for maintaining and developing a single/group of Independent Pharmacy(s) in order to exceed Company set sales and profit targets across range of ‘Must Have’ product lines.
- Achieve monthly sales targets of assigned key accounts
- Manage and develop key accounts through joint business planning and execution of marketing & promotional plan
- Maximising sales & managing trade spend
- Involve in stock forecasting and planning
- Managing in stock to DC and monitor product lifecycle in trade
- Prepare monthly promotions planning & after sales analysis
- Better coordination of business activities (Below the line)
- Prepare weekly & monthly sales report for internal/external needs
- Establishes rapport and maintains contact with existing key account’s buyers as well as potential accounts.
- Monitor and report on all relevant market information, including competitor intelligence, new products, display & etc.
- Quarterly business review/meetings with assigned key accounts to obtain market insights
- Travel to outstation (Whenever business needs arise)
- People Management (Leading Merchandising team)
- Assist in ad-hoc projects, as and when required
Job Requirements
- Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate or Professional Degree in Sales & Marketing or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years in Consumer/ Pharmacy Sales and/or Key Account Management (advantage for candidates with Watsons or Guardian key account experience)
- Preferable minimum 1 year people management/ handling sales team experiences
- FMCG brand sales experience in the pharmacy/independence pharmacy/International key account.
- Excellent verbal and written English; and advantage for Chinese or any local language/dialect
- Clear persuasive communicator (written and verbal) including active listening ability
- PC literate with good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Results oriented, risk tolerant and persistent in fast paced, pressurised environment
- Good prioritisation and organisational skills
- Adapts response to circumstances, flexible in handling change and comfortable working independently.
- Category management / Trade Marketing exposure desirable
- Develops effective business relationships and manages difficult people effectively to seize opportunities
- Strong planning skills – focused on execution and the customer
- Ability to use influencing and negotiating skills to achieve results (both internally and externally)
- Excellent Presentation skills
