Land & Property Management Manager - Competitive Pay

Qualifications & experience

• Degree in Land Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field. Min 5 years' experience in land management, real estate, with property developer or consultancy firm in Malaysia. Good understanding of Malaysia land laws and regulations.
• Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record in managing land sales and client relationships.

Tasks & responsibilities

1   Land & property management. 

• Management and maintenance of existing land bank with regular inspections to ensure proper upkeep.
• Management and maintenance of an office building including lease management and value enhancement.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize the value and profitability of assets.
• Understand and familiar with valuation techniques and able to collate and present current and forecast market values and rents.
• Oversee and manage the entire land sales process, including marketing, negotiations, and closing deals.

2   Customer Service and Queries

• Address enquiries from clients, stakeholders, and the general public regarding land matters.
• Provide detailed information and advice on land regulations, zoning, and development possibilities.
• Liaise with government authorities and other relevant parties to resolve land-related issues.

3   Land Development and Utilization

• Evaluate potential land acquisitions and development opportunities. 
• Conduct site visits and assessments to determine land suitability for various purposes.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and planners to facilitate land development projects.

4   Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure all land transactions comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Stay updated on changes in land laws and regulations, and to communicate these to relevant parties.
• Prepare and submit necessary documentation for land transactions and development approvals.

5   Reporting and Documentation

• Maintain accurate records of land sales, inquiries, and transactions.
• Prepare regular reports on land sales performance and market trends.
• Document and archive all communications and agreements related to land matters.
