Language Data Annotator - Indonesian - onsite - Subang Jaya

Work Location: Subang Jaya, Malaysia

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday during regular business hours (no weekends or holidays) 

Engagement Model: Full-time, temporary contract

Languages Needed: Indonesian and English 

Data Force by TransPerfect is currently looking for a Language Data Annotator with fluency in Indonesian to join our team in Malaysia! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative project to improve Artificial Intelligence and technology. This role requires a high level of independence, adaptation, and accuracy – love of attention to detail will help to succeed in this role! 

Role Summary 

The Language Data Annotator will analyze data in the language in question and identify potential issues. This data will be used to develop and improve the speech recognition capabilities of Artificial Intelligence systems. 

Role Responsibilities  

• Analyzing data in the Indonesian language   

• Classifying and labeling information 

• Meeting daily Key Performance Indexes (KPIs) as defined by management/supervisor 

• Completing all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor 

• Developing natural language prompts that mimic human interactions, covering different styles (e.g., argumentative, narrative) and topics (e.g., science, history, technology). 

• Reviewing written text that contains sensitive content. This content is text-based only, with no images or videos. 

Role Requirements 

• Excellent listening, writing, and spelling skills in Indonesian

• Good reading and comprehension skills in English. Ability to understand guidelines in English 

• Good understanding of Indonesian culture and familiarity with the current affairs in the country 

• Ability to meet daily quality standards 

• Attention to detail 

• Flexibility, ability to adapt and react to changing priorities quickly and efficiently 

• Ability to track, analyze, and report issues 

• Good oral and written communication skills 

• Problem-solving abilities 

• Excellent time management 

• Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
