Job Responsibilities:
- Support the management in providing leadership and advice in implementing an effective Health, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems (HSEMS) for corporate level and ensure in compliance with the statutory regulations and standard requirements.
- Review and update HSE Policy, objectives, guidelines and procedures for continual improvement.
- Assist the management to strategize and execute the ESG and Sustainability initiatives, advocate the corporate goal towards Carbon Neutral by 2040.
- Collaborate with other divisions in enforcing HSE rules and regulations.
- Provide guidance and direction for effective approach of HSE programs' execution.
- Manage records and documentation associated with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Carry out workplace inspection, food premises inspection, internal audit, reporting and managing the corrective actions.
- Investigate HSE incidents and submit reports to management and authority if required.
Coordinate for HSE monitoring and scheduled wastes management.
- Prepare and update HSE Monthly Report to management in a timely manner.
- Act as focal person to liaise with external parties and government agencies for HSE related matters
- Perform duty as Secretary of HSE Committee.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Environmental Health and Safety or any relevant qualification.
- Possesses a minimum of 3 to 5 years of working experience in HSE.
- Candidates who is a certified Safety & Health Officer (SHO) and Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management (CePSWAM) will be added advantage.
- Possesses excellent incident investigation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in English writing and verbal communication.
- Tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office software, i.e. Words, Excel & Power Point.
