Legal Affairs Officer - Opportunity to Make a Difference

Duties & Responsibilities : 

1. To carry out legal research, review, vet and peruse corporate and commercial agreements.
2. To draft and solidify a wide range of agreements, contracts, statements, terms and conditions, legal letters and other legal documents to ensure the company's full legal rights are in place.
3. To analysis on various legal matters, including international trade regulations, contract law, commercial law and corporate governance issues.
4. To support compliance team ensuring adherence with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing international trade, including import/export regulations, customs laws, and trade sanctions.
5. To provide sound legal advice and support to protect interest of the Group Companies. 
6. To anticipate and manage the (legal) risk connected with or resulting from the business strategy and operations.
7. Ensure effective communication and coordination with cross-functional teams across Group of Companies.
8. To maintain accurate legal documentation and records, including contracts, legal correspondence, regulatory fillings, and corporate documents.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent;
• Admitted to practice Law in Malaysia 
• Preferably 1-2 years of experience in legal practice with a focus on international trade, commercial law or corporate law.
• Strong understanding of contract law, international trade regulations, and corporate governance principles.
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required : fluency in Cantonese is a plus.   
• Willing for relocating in overseas will be priority.
