Legal & Compliance Executive - Hiring Now

• Liaise with regulator / auditors / consultants and departmental heads to identify, sort and collate documents to support the Company’s position and framework against relevant statutory and regulatory guidelines, standards and requirements.
• Liaise with other departmental heads to identify, produce and execute materials and actions to resolve gaps and findings identified by internal auditors / external auditors / consultants / regulator to further enhance and reinforce the Company’s position and framework against relevant statutory and regulatory guidelines, standards and requirements.
• Produce reports for review by Head for reporting and submission purposes to the regulator to maintain consistent communication between the Company and the regulator, and ensure the Company adheres to the requirements set by the regulator.
• Liaise with the external Company Secretary on matters in relation to the Board of Directors, Shareholders and the Company’s legal documentations to ensure timely execution and delivery of instructions given and decisions made, and ensure timely circulation and submission of documents.
• Produce the Company’s compliance status reports for review by Head and liaise with departmental heads to sort and collate meeting papers to ensure timely distribution of the meeting papers to the Board of Directors in preparation for board meetings.
• Gather, review and analyse materials and processes with departmental heads / staff to assist and support Head in determining the state of compliance of the Company’s operational processes and documentations against relevant policies and procedures, framework and guidelines.
• Identify, sort and collate materials and documentations for record keeping and maintenance purposes to assist and support Head in the execution and implementation of the Company’s Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption (ABAC) framework.
• Liaise with Head and departmental heads / staff in the review of notices, contracts and agreements to ensure that the documents are in order prior to circulation to external parties.
• Execute other various ad hoc tasks assigned to assist and support Head on other matters in relation to the legal and compliance aspects of the Company.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Business, Social Science, Corporate Administration and any relevant field.
• Fresh graduates are welcomed. Experience in the legal / assurance / audit / compliance would be an added advantage.

• Strong organisational and detail-oriented skills.
• Excellent Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) skills.
• Proactive team player with excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written English) skills.
