About The Role

Role Responsibilities:

To assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts, agreements, and legal documents, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
To assist H.O.D to follow up with all documentation while providing timely, regular and accurate reports as scheduled by the Management.
Conduct thorough legal reviews and research on legal issues to assess complexities and to support and advise the company on the latest regulatory requirements and compliance matters.
To peruse, vet and review letters of demand/cause papers and liaison with external lawyers on the business activities and legal issues/ disputes of the company.
To liaison with other departments, facilitating interdepartmental collaboration on legal matters.
To assist H.O.D. in any other legal matters and/or other such reasonable duties while adhering to the procedures and policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Individuals having Bachelor of Laws (LL.B), and/or other equivalent qualifications.
Experience of at least 2 years in Conveyancing. Experience in Litigation is a bonus point.
Excellent legal writing skills with meticulous attention to detail and formatting standards.
Proficiency in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to converse, draft documents, and interpret in Mandarin Chinese (preferred).
