Once the commercial operation commences by the end of 2024, the Kulim production site will focus on ABF substrate solutions for the semicon industry. Line Control Technician (Production Control/Planner- Contract)

Your Responsibilities

• 
  

  Support the implementation of lean manufacturing techniques such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and other continuous improvement methodologies across production lines.

  
  


• 
  

  Analyze current production processes to identify areas for improvement and implementation strategies to increase efficiency, reduce cycle time and eliminate waste.

  
  


• 
  

  Collect and analyze production performance date, identify trends and procide actionable insights to support decision-making.

  
  


• 
  

  Develop and maintain standard work procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in production processes.

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate closely with operations team to implement changes and improve overall plant performance.

  
  


• 
  

  Peform data analysis, define issues, and manage problem solving proceses to ensure smooth flow in Manufacturing.

  
  

Your Profile

• 
  

  Diploma in Manufacturing/Business or equivalent

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum 3 years’ working experience in manufacturing or semiconductor industry is preferable

  
  


• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and tools (5S, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping)


• 
  

  Proven track record of implementing process improvements in a manufacturing environment.

  
  


• Proficiency in Data Analysis tools such as Excelm Minitab or similar software


• 
  

  Strong problem solving skills, good analytical skills

  
  


• 
  

  Able to work independently, minimum supervision, dedicated, results oriented, hardworking and able to work under pressure

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities tasks effectively.
