Logistics Engineer - Leading Industry Pay

Your responsibilities: 

• Co-work with all functional teams and customers to handle oversea outbound shipments, to ensure most effective way of shipment.
• Act as a contact point among local shipping agent, headquarters, fully and proactively communicate with all parties in terms of the issues related with shipping.
• Spare parts incoming inspection, parts packing and spare parts shipment arrangement.
• Issue invoice and purchasing order from SAP for non-stock parts and follow up. 
• Warranty parts local repair arrangement, tracking and follow up.
• Provide the relevant reports timely.
• Manage local stock and keep accurate record of local inventory.
• Import/Export Customs clearance and forwarder management.
• Any other assignments from the line manager.

Your qualifications:  

• College graduated or above, major in logistics/supply chain/international trade or related majors.
• At least 2 years’ experience in similar position, machinery industry experience will be a credit; knowledge of global logistics, customs practice/regulations in import/export.
• Excellent in oral and written Bahasa Melayu and English
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Good problem analysis and solving skills with high sense of urgency
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Residency in Kulim Malaysia is desirable
