Logistics Solutions Design Manager

seeking an experienced Logistics Solutions Design Manager to support new business opportunities, develop commercially
viable logistics solutions and drive operational improvements.

About the Role

You will play an important role in designing end-to-end
logistics solutions, evaluating new business opportunities and
preparing competitive proposals that balance operational
feasibility, service quality and profitability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Warehousing & Distribution (W&D) , with the ability to translate customer requirements into
practical and financially sustainable logistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Logistics Solution Design & Development

• Design and develop cost-effective logistics solutions,
  particularly for warehousing and distribution operations.
  

• Analyse customer requirements, operational workflows,
  warehouse capacity, manpower and resource requirements.
  

• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency,
  productivity and service delivery.
  

• Develop solutions for new business opportunities and
  improvements to existing logistics operations.
  

2. Commercial Analysis & Business Proposals

• Conduct financial feasibility assessments, including cost
  modelling, pricing analysis, profitability and P&L projections.
  

• Prepare commercial and technical proposals for new
  business opportunities, tenders and customer requirements.
  

• Evaluate operational costs, investment requirements,
  resource allocation and projected financial returns.
  

• Work closely with commercial and operational teams to
  develop competitive and commercially viable solutions.
  

3. Operational Planning & Strategy

• Develop operational plans and strategies to support new
  logistics projects and business expansion.
  

• Conduct operational simulations, capacity assessments and
  workflow optimisation to determine appropriate solutions.
  

• Support the transition from solution design to operational implementation.
  

• Recommend process enhancements and innovative approaches
  to improve cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
  

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with Business Development, Operations, Finance
  and other stakeholders to develop integrated logistics solutions.
  

• Present business proposals, financial assessments and
  operational recommendations to management.
  

• Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for
  service enhancement and business growth.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management,
  Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
  

• 5–10 years of relevant experience in logistics , preferably within a 3PL or contract logistics environment.
  

• Strong hands-on experience in Warehousing & Distribution , particularly solution design, operational planning or
  logistics engineering.
  

• Good understanding of Freight Forwarding, Heavy Lift or General Cargo operations would be an added advantage.
  

• Experience in logistics costing, financial modelling,
  P&L analysis, commercial proposals or tender preparation.
  

• Familiarity with warehouse design, capacity planning,
  operational simulation or process optimisation tools.
  

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the
  ability to prepare financial analyses and business presentations.
  

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, commercial and
  stakeholder management skills.
  

• Relevant logistics certifications would be an advantage.
