MAINTENANCE MANAGER / ASSISTANT MANAGER (AYER KEROH MELAKA) - Competitive Pay

Job Description

• Basic salary up to RM8500 (Negotiable)
• 8am - 5.30pm, 5 working days / week

Job Responsibility

• Responsible for site facilities operation and overseeing the maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, and facilities.
• Develop, document, implement and maintain the mechanical and electrical integrity program, as well as other maintenance policies and procedures.
• Managing maintenance operations, ensure that maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner and that equipment downtime is minimized.
• Analyze and create preventive maintenance procedures and practices to comply with regulatory codes, specifications, standards and cooperate guideline for the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the plant to ensure validity, efficiency, maximum production equipment uptime.
• Develop and implementing maintenance strategies and procedure to improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
• Review engineering specifications and design modification proposals to impose reliability with cost and other performance requirement.
• Coordinate with warehouse to establish and maintain the proper stocking levels of parts and equipment required to provide maximum equipment uptime at the lowest possible costs.
• Develop and implement innovation programs and processes that reduce utility costs, increase productivity and savings.
• Managing maintenance budgets and ensure that financial resources are allocated appropriately and that maintenance goals are met.
• Ensuring that maintenance operations comply with relevant safety and environment regulations and procedures at all time
• Managing all contract vendors to carry out technical audit or maintenance for all installation as scheduled.
• Liaise with vendors or contractors for machine spares and maintain adequate critical spare parts.
• Solution provision for minor projects and coordinating with contractors or vendors from initiation to completion.
• Always respond to the call ball for machinery recovery when needed promptly.
• Undertake tasks as directed by the superior and/or management as and when required.

Requirements

• Candidate must posses at least a Degree in any related field.
• 5 - 10 years working experience in the maintenance related in manufacturing industry.
• Demonstrate good leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication skills with all level of employees
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Applicants must be willing to work at Ayer Keroh, Melaka
• 1 Full time position available
