Maintenance Manager (Mall) - Start Now

Job Responsibility

• Supervise and ensure the proper functioning of all mall facilities, including electrical systems, heating and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and other building systems.
• Implement preventative maintenance measures to ensure equipment longevity and efficiency.
• Respond promptly to reports of mechanical or maintenance issue and resolve them expeditiously.
• Lead, train, and manage maintenance staff, ensuring a high standard of work and compliance with safety regulations.
• Schedule and delegate maintenance tasks and projects effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to mall operations.
• Conduct performance evaluations of maintenance staff to foster a positive and accountable work environment.
• Ensure all mall facilities comply with health and safety standards and legal regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and ensure corrections are implemented where necessary.
• Prepare and manage the budget for the maintenance department, ensuring cost effectiveness.
• Negotiate with vendors and contractors for supplies and services, ensuring competitive pricing and quality service.
• Oversee renovation projects to enhance facility efficiency and aesthetics.
• Coordinate with external contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects within budget.

Job requirement

• Bachelor's Degree in Facility Management, Engineerig or related field.
• Proven experience as a maintenance manager or other managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to analyse situations and make quick decisions in high-pressure scenarios.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in handling maintenance management software
