About the role

The Maintenance Technician is part of a team responsible for supporting production and safely maintaining equipment used in the production, packaging and shipping of our food products in a plant and warehouse environment. In addition, the Maintenance Technician is also responsible for supporting the building facilities operations while meeting safety and GMP practices, environmental and regulatory requirements. 

   
This role will be in Kerry Malaysia's Plentong plant with Shift Patterns,

Key responsibilities

• To work on changing shift schedule as per Duty Roaster.


• To carry out Preventive and Corrective Maintenance as per PM Schedule and CMMS.


• Perform work order repairs, inspections, and routine maintenance task.


• To conduct plant rounding every shift and report any abnormality.


• Respond to emergency breakdown in the plant.


• To ensure the Maintenance workshop cleanliness according to the GMP standards.


• To ensure mechanical spare parts are recorded after used and do the stock take as per schedule.


• Prepare and record all the daily activities in the Daily Log Book and CMMS.


• To obey company set rules and regulations at all time.


• Work as a team to achieve targets and objectives set by the department’s head. Perform quality assurance inspections on all completed jobs; ensures conformance with Malaysian standards, mechanical codes, OSHA, regulations, lock out-tag out, confined space protocols, Material Safety Data Sheets, engineering specifications, and other local, state, and federal regulations.


• To perform any other duties as instructed by superiors.


• Work safely without presenting direct threat to self of others. Must be a team player.


• Responsibility in prevention environmental pollution

Qualifications and skills

• Minimum Professional Certificate/Diploma in any related field of study


• At least 2-3 years working experience in related field
