• Executing proactive maintenance (mechanical and electrical).

• Conduct inspection and document the parameters of equipment and its components to verify that they fall within acceptable limits (such as oil sampling, inspection of rubber rolls, alignment of rolls, and electrical checks). 

• Gather information on equipment malfunctions to conduct an analysis on failure trends.

 • When necessary, project installation, supervision, and commissioning will be carried out.
 • Managing and supervising the contractors' activities.
 • Supporting the project engineer with the Mechanical & Electrical inspection of the process line.
 • Confirming and approving the completed tasks by the project's subcontractors (such as verifying alignment, etc.).
 • Notified and report to Mechanical Maintenance leader upon completion of assigned task /responsibilities.
 • Maintains effective communication with plant personnel to ensure prompt dissemination of information regarding maintenance matters.
 • Establishes communication with external suppliers to procure items necessary for maintenance and assigned projects.
 • When required, interacts with technical staff from other divisions (both local and international) to gather technical or any other relevant information.
 • Participates in technical exhibitions and expos organized by other companies, industrial entities, and government bodies.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent.

• At least 2-3 years of professional experience in the maintenance and electrical aspects of manufacturing plant equipment, with a focus on mechanical installation and heavy process equipment maintenance. Preferably, the candidate should also possess knowledge of extrusion maintenance.

• Proficient in English communication (both oral and written) and skilled in computer usage (proficient in word processing and spreadsheet applications).

• The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate the ability to cultivate positive working relationships with individuals both within and outside the organization.

• The individual should possess the ability to adapt their personal timetable to accommodate the requirements of the business. They should exhibit a high level of energy and be capable of working additional hours when necessary.
