Maintenance Technician (based in Cyberjaya)

Responsibilities:

Documentation and Resource Management

• To record the water and electricity usage from Energy Management System (EMS) and meter on a daily basis.
• Monitor monthly usage and comparison from past months2. Keep record for maintenance and repair work done.
• Filing service and repair record from vendors

Regulatory Compliance

• To renew all the related licenses and certification before they expire -ensures timely renewal of licenses and certifications.

Security

• To perform office sanitization every Friday - Involves regular office sanitization practices.To record guards on duties.
• Involves maintaining records of security personnel on duty for monthly payment
• To coordinate and liaise with the IT Department on the Visitor Management System (VMS) for recording visitors in and out of the premises.
• Involves collaboration with the IT Department for visitor management.

Cost Management

• To obtain price quotations for comparison on specialized maintenance work.
• Involves sourcing and comparing price quotations for specialized maintenance tasks.

Coordination and Communication

• To liaise and coordinate with contractors regarding office equipment and facilities maintenance/repair/installation tasks when required.
• Involves effective communication and coordination with external contractors.

General Responsibilities 

• To perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by superiors from time to time.

Requirements:

• Possesses a  Bachelor’s Degree in Building Surveying.
• Technical proficiency, communication skills and adaptability
• Proficient in Microsoft Office application.
• Knowledge in Building automation system (EMS, VMS) and CCTV system.
• At least 2 - 3 year(s) of working experience in related field.
• Thorough knowledge of quality assurance, compliance, and regulatory standards pertinent to facility management and operations.
• Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.
• Excellent problem solving capabilities.
• Strong organizational and follow up skills.
• Must be willing to work in Cyberjaya.
