Maintenance Technician (The Alcoholic Beverages Manufacturing Industry) - Rewarding Work

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of our manufacturing equipment and facilities. The Maintenance Technician will perform both preventative maintenance and troubleshooting tasks to minimize downtime and maintain productivity. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities and Duties: -

1. Conduct routine maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
2. Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on machinery, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components.
3. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
4. Coordinate with production team to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to manufacturing processes.
5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment condition.
6. Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement or optimization.
7. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
8. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
9. Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality assurance, to support continuous improvement initiatives.
10. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in maintenance technologies and techniques.

Qualifications & Requirements :-

• Diploma or technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in electrical and electronic systems, including PLCs, motor controls, and sensors.
• Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
• Basic computer skills for recording maintenance activities and accessing technical documentation.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces as needed.
